I've gotta get the dash out.  It starts with the dash pad, pretty easy, just a few screws and out it comes!  it looks good too!

Holy Cow!  what is this?
Not only a heck of a mouse nest but they actually dragged a mouse trap up into the middle of it!
I cant believe what I'm seeing!  There is no way somebody placed this here, they had to have hauled it up above the glove box.  Too funny!

After cleaning up the mess, I removed six mounting bolts for the dash and leaned it towards the rear to see what I had to deal with there.

There's been some partying up here!  Looks like Rice Crispy bars on top of the cluster.  I'll never be able to eat one again.

After everything is disconnected the dash comes free.

Here's the back of the dash assembly, YUCK!  I'm amazed I didn't find a disco ball or empty keg!  They had a lot of fun (and food apparently)!

After a lot of cleaning, bulb replacement, gauge lens polishing, and verifying all the electrical is in A-1 shape.  Looks really good!

And out comes the heater box!  Anyone that's done this knows what a pain it is.  I was a little lucky having the passenger fender off to have a little better access.

They had a lot of fun in here too!

All de-mouse-crapped and a brand new heater core.

I also removed all the drip molding trim, the windshield trim and vinyl top trim.

The steering column was taken apart, sanded, prepped and painted.

It's looking GOOD!
