I got to make things shiny and put on some nice new parts!

All new bushings and ball joints in the upper and lower control arms, much better than new.

I bolted the control arms back in place and used a spring compressor and installed the new spindle for the aftermarket disc brakes.

I spent a lot of time bending and flaring new brake line to exactly match the original, it turned out quit well.

I installed new shocks and then started putting together the front disc brakes.  After the backing plate and caliper bracket was attached the rotor along with all new bearings was put in place followed by the brake pads and caliper,

A new center link and idler arm along with the sway bar and steering box are all in place.

The rear differential housing was stripped, sandblasted and painted.  The internals were in pristine condition so after checking all the adjustments of the ring and pinion it was put together with new seals.

Finally the differential was lifted back into place and the upper and lower control arms were attached.

I bent new brake line for the rear brakes and installed new wheel cylinders and brake hardware.

I've got a nice rolling chassis now.  Next I'll run the fuel and brake line along the frame and then the drivetrain.

Lots more to come!

Check back often.
